The Mathews Memorial Library is pleased to announce that a new eBook service has been launched! eBooks and downloadable audiobooks are now available for Mathews Memorial Library patrons.

We are partnering with a consortium of libraries collectively known as Southern Virginia Libraries United Electronically (SOVALUe) to bring you OverDrive® eBooks and downloadable audiobooks. OverDrive® is the premier provider of electronic book content in public libraries all over the world. You will be able to download and read eBooks for free on your PC, Mac computer, tablet, or your dedicated eBook reader (including Nook, Kindle and many others). Depending upon the title you will also be able to download and listen to audiobooks on your computer or on your portable music device.

Stop by the library and see our Technology Zoo including many popular e-reader devices. Ask for a tutorial on how to download eBooks and we will be happy to demonstrate the procedure or answer your questions.
