· The
Nautical Notes Adult Summer Literary Cruise
is open to any Mathews Memorial Library
patron who is 18 years or older.
· The
program will begin June 9 and finish August 1.
Patrons may join the program at any
time during this 9 week period. Register online through the
Library’s website, www.mathewslibrary.org or by registering at
the library circulation desk.
First-time online users should
click the “Sign Me Up” button.
This opens a new page where you are
asked to provide your registration information.
· Returning
online users click on the “Crew Log” button to enter the book
title, author, short book review and book rating.
If not using the online Crew Log,
pick up a Crew Log at the circulation desk and return it to the
“pier”.
· Participants
may read any book
listed on the
Nautical Notes Adult Summer Literary Cruise
Book List.
The list is available on the Library’s website or a copy can be
picked up at the Library.
· Participants
may read as many books as they wish per week.
· Participants
may choose to make their reviews public.
· Once
a participant completes a book and submits the requested
information, they will be entered in the weekly prize drawing.
One winner will be selected at random weekly.
· Prize
drawings will be held each Friday afternoon.
Winners will be contacted either by
phone or email. The winning name will also be available on the
Library’s website on the following Monday after the drawing.
· Non-winning
weekly entries will be entered into the final grand prize
drawing held at the conclusion of the program.
